For small stains, you can try using a mild soap, dilute it slightly. Dab just a little bit on with your fingers, scrub with a gentle cloth or a sponge. Then dampen another cloth with warm water to remove the soap. Less is more when it comes to cleaning!

Every style carries its own travel rating and its own packing tips, listed with the product details above. The rating tells you how that hat handles a suitcase. The tips tell you what to do with it.

Two rules cover most of it. A stiff brim travels best worn or carried by hand. A soft crown wants something inside it - rolled socks or a t-shirt are perfect - so it holds its shape under everything else in the bag.
